Teak Deck

Chartering a yacht requires a security deposit. The deposit covers any accidental damage caused by you or your fellow passengers and aims to ensure that all the contractual obligations are met (e.g. the time to return the boat). It is given to the charter operator before setting sail, and is returned at the end of the trip, once the boat has been inspected. Only credit cards issued by entities defined in charter's contract header are accepted. The charter company is always entitled to have the last word on the acceptance or rejection of multiple credit cards for the deposit.

If you would like to have a smaller security deposit, you can pay irrevocable deposit reduction and reduce your security deposit. It is given to the charter operator before setting sail, and is returned at trip’s end, once the boat has been inspected.
